The general-purpose dry-type transformer is the highly adaptable cornerstone of modern power distribution. Engineered strictly to IEC and national standards, it utilizes high-strength vacuum-cast epoxy resin and optimized low-noise configurations. It flawlessly merges the oil-free, eco-friendly, and zero-fire-risk benefits of dry-type equipment with universal adaptability across multiple industries. With Tier 2 energy efficiency (NX2), it is the most reliable, cost-effective choice for large-to-medium substations, industrial plant upgrades, commercial high-rises, and renewable energy integration projects.
Core Parameters:
• Energy Efficiency: Tier 2 Efficiency (SCB10 Series, GB 20052-2024 NX2).
• Structure: Solid Resin Cast Insulation + Highly Adaptable Compact Footprint.
• Cooling Mode: AN / AF Dual Mode (Forced air safely boosts capacity by up to 30%).
Product Features

Designed with highly customizable high-voltage taps and compact dimensions, allowing it to seamlessly replace older units across virtually any industrial or commercial sector.

100% oil-free design using premium flame-retardant epoxy resin. It acts as a self-extinguishing barrier, eliminating all explosion hazards in densely populated indoor spaces.

Adheres to the SCB10 Tier 2 efficiency standards (NX2). It slashes losses by 20%~40% compared to legacy setups, striking the perfect balance between capital investment and energy savings.

Features a high-grade silicon steel core assembled with 45° step-lap joints. This drastically dampens magnetic vibration, keeping noise levels exceptionally low for quiet environments.

Standardly relies on Natural Air (AN) cooling. Activating the optional Forced Air (AF) cooling can safely boost the operational capacity by up to 30% during peak demand periods.

With no insulating oil to monitor or replace, operational maintenance is reduced to simple visual checks and occasional fan dust wiping, perfect for semi-unattended grid nodes.

FAQ
To ensure maximum lifespan and capacity out of your general-purpose dry-type transformer, follow these critical indoor installation guidelines:
1) Ventilation & Clearances: Dry-type transformers rely entirely on ambient air to shed heat. You must maintain a minimum clearance of 0.8m to 1.0m from the walls and surrounding switchgears to ensure smooth natural air convection (AN mode). For larger models utilizing forced air (AF), ensure fan intakes are unobstructed.
2) Room Exhaust Systems: The electrical room cannot be fully sealed. It must have adequate louvers for natural cross-ventilation. For high-capacity units (≥800kVA), the room must be equipped with active exhaust fans placed near the ceiling to expel the rising hot air, keeping the ambient room temperature strictly below 40℃.
3) Proper Enclosure Selection: If the electrical room is clean, secure, and restricted to qualified personnel, an open unit (IP00) provides the best cooling. If the room is shared, dusty, or has rodent risks, you must order the transformer with an IP20 (standard mesh) or IP40 (solid metal) protective enclosure, ensuring the cable entry ports are properly sealed post-installation.
