The SCB13 series comes with highly versatile cooling options designed to maximize operational lifespan and flexibility:

1) AN (Natural Air Cooling): This is the standard operational mode. The transformer relies on the natural convection of air around its resin-cast coils to dissipate heat. It guarantees 100% of the rated capacity (e.g., 1000kVA) continuously with zero cooling noise or fan maintenance.

2) AF (Forced Air Cooling): By outfitting the transformer with bottom-mounted high-velocity cooling fans (controlled automatically by a smart PT100 temperature controller), you switch to AF mode. When winding temperatures rise during peak demand, the fans activate to drastically accelerate heat removal. This safely boosts the transformer's load-carrying capacity by 30% to 50% for short durations, allowing you to seamlessly handle peak seasons without buying a larger transformer.
