It is responsible for converting the low-voltage DC generated by PV modules, stepping up the voltage, and safely connecting it to the public grid, making it a key facility for large-scale solar power transmission.

A solar substation is designed specifically for PV generation and focuses on integrated inversion, voltage step-up, grid connection, and power quality management.

It features low loss, high compatibility, fast grid connection, and intelligent monitoring, making it more suitable for renewable energy stations.

Conventional substations are mainly used for power transmission and distribution and do not include PV inversion and control functions.

Under normal use and proper maintenance, the design life is ≥25 years, matching the service life of PV modules and meeting full life-cycle station requirements.

It is factory-prefabricated and pre-assembled with commissioning.

On site, only foundation placement, cabling, and joint commissioning are required.

For a standard project, it can be completed in as fast as 7–30 days from arrival to grid-ready condition.
